TMS Johnson Looks Forward to Another Year of Events, Seminars, and Continuing Education Credits

2018 was a big year for TMS Johnson. We completed construction on our brand-new learning center in New Hope, Minnesota, and welcomed technicians and engineers in the HVAC industry to take a class. We hosted a grand opening event with entertainment, food trucks, and tours of our classrooms, too.

Here’s a look back at our 2018 events and a peek at the products we may feature in 2019.

Our Inaugural Class Featured LG VRF Technology

We hosted our first CE class before the grand opening of our learning center. Marty Brinton of LG led an in-depth training on LG’s VRF technologies and equipment. Students got valuable information during the classroom session as well as irreplaceable hands-on training with LG VRF equipment. To mark the occasion, TMS Johnson provided students with refreshments and a tour of our new facility.

TMS Johnson Learning Center Grand Opening

On June 28, TMS Johnson threw a party to celebrate the grand opening of our learning center. Our open house guests were treated to a tour of our classrooms and hands-on practice areas as well as food trucks in our parking lot. We had great entertainment and door prizes, too. Throughout the afternoon, our guests met representatives from our partners in the heating and cooling industry. Take a look at photos of the event on our blog.

Health Care HVAC Solutions with Price Industries

In August 2018, TMS Johnson hosted a seminar on health care HVAC solutions from Price Industries. Price engineer Jarvis Penner and product manager David Surminski led the class. After learning about HVAC solutions for hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and other medical facilities, students were offered breakfast, lunch, or happy hour refreshments from our food trucks.

Chilled Beams with Price Industries

In October 2018, Price Industries was back at the TMS Johnson Learning Center to discuss chilled beam technology, application, and installation. Engineer Matt Bhumbla taught the class and hands-on training session. Students earned 2 PDH credits for attending.

Kitchen Ventilation Solutions with Accurex

We rounded out our 2018 learning series with kitchen ventilation solutions from Accurex. Engineer Matthew Ystad led the class and hands-on training that covered kitchen components, control systems, and functions.

Our 2019 Learning Series

We’re still putting together our educational lineup for 2019. Check our events page for details on upcoming seminars. We hope to include several of our product partners. We may include training on products from Lennox, Aircuity, Neptronic, and Greenheck. We look forward to hosting you soon!
